  • They are stamped with the letter Y, as in Y 1L , or Y 1M.
Also, is there some sort of matching required for the SANKEN A1303/C3284 output transistors in 907 MR. Some of them have 8N P/ 16 P stamped, others 44 Y/ 10 Y.

    Best Regards
    Chris

    Letters Y or P differ in h21
All PNP should be the same Y or P and the same number f.e 10Y it is possible that NPN will have different h21 f.e 22Y

The perfect situation will be when you will have all 16 transistors PNP and NPN with the same letter and numbers
The place selling the transistor offers 4 Vgs:
    1.9 ± 0.3V
    2.0 ± 0.3V
    2.1 ± 0.3V
    2.2 ± 0.3V

Hello, most of the fets used in 907limited had Vgs of 2.1-2.2V
    Hi

I followed several very impressive youtube videos of yours, repairing different Sansui amps. I am a total newbie in this field, so please excuse my incompetence on the matter. I wonder if you happen to know what MOS FET Vgs values the output transistors Toshiba 2SK405/2SJ115 have to have for 907i MOS Ltd. Trying to stock up on parts for preventive maintenance.
    Hi there

Do you have any more pictures of the repair work you did on the Accuphase C-280? Also what type of work did you do on the preamp?

I own a c280 and am looking at doing a restoration.

Thanks for your time, it's really appreciated.

    Tim :)
