ckelly, this is my first venture into audiokarma and I havethat babe-in-the-woods feeling. I have a mid-1980s vintage all-Fisher stereo system still working wonderfully well, except that the AM band of the amplifier/tuner (RS 852) seems to no longer function (nothing but noise) and I need advice on how/where I can get it repaired or replaced. I've been running most of my audio components through this amplifier/tuner, including a Dual turntable, a CD/DVD player, a large Plasma TV, FM radio, etc. etc. and the audio for them is still OK. Is it likely that only one element of the amplifier, i.e. the AM chanel, is defunct while the others work fine ? What is the best Forum for me to access - vintage solid state ? and just how do I do that ? Greatly appreciate your guidance. JayJay
