I just looked you up on AK.
Interestingly, after a 6 month search for a 4401 preamp, I found it paired with an 1801 in Winnipeg. I already have an 1801 almost completely restored by Racoon1400. So this summer, I had planned on doing a tour of the north shore of Lake Superior with my girlfriend. When I found the 1801 and the 4401, I extended it to Kenora (near where my family had it's first homestead), and did a day trip into Winnipeg. I traded the owner with a working but visually impaired McIntosh MAC1900. So they are out there. Expect to spend a bit of cash if the 1801 isn't working. These are very expensive amps to restore, in parts alone. Mine will have cost me $700 just to restore, but he did need to replace all the power transistors.

Byron
