  • I'm responding to a post about the Sony PS-FL1 you posted quite a while back. I too picked up a Sony PS-FL1 with a flashing red light and plan on replacing the burned out lamp in the back. Now, when that bulb burned out and you tried to play a record, did you first have to shut the machine off and then turn it back on to eject the record. Currently my machine opens and closes as it should but once you push play nothing else happens. The platter spins up, the arm travels out and doesn't drop, but if you push stop or eject the machine still stays locked with the platter spinning and arm hanging.

    If all I needed is a bulb to clear the whole mess up that would be great.
