Check phono stage power supply rails and if they test good then break out the scope and start signal tracing. Lots of corrosive glue on this model unfortunately.

Use an oscilloscope to find out where the signal drops out

How many watts did you listen at? My M70 only pushes out 30 at most at the volumes I listen at

1213 transistors need to go. Also 2sc458 bias transistors

It's a cheap amp and probably not really meant to be fixed. Buy a new version is my recommendation

Do NOT replace any transistors unless you are certain they are bad or poorly made. The 2200 is a great home stereo amp, just has a slight bit of ground loop hum that showed up in tests with an oscillator with grounds common to both channels. I have recapped 4 of them. Should be easy to go on...

30mA through the outputs is a good guess for proper idle current

Check DC offset and adjust as needed

Buy something nicer or a better condition same model. I don't have any advice beyond that. These are really cheap amps.

Poor soldering is my guess. If you could resolder each joint go for it.

You'll probly get 125WPC. Should sound better. Do not use with speakers below 6Ω
