i just now realized you answered my message. ive been searching for one over a year on ebay but to no avail. i subscribed so i could post a wtb message on barter town. in the last 2 years ive repaired and recapped an sx 880,890,850,939,1010, the last is the the 1080 with a working. but out of whack tuner board. NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE WITHOUT YOUR HELP and the help of others on the forum. ive learned a lot. maybe ill get lucky on barter town. thanks mark.

That is a LOT of work to answer a seemingly idle question. Others might have more time to play around with the concept, starting with the mechanical details (board size, cap placement, etc) and then going down to the electrical details (start by accounting for pins, functions, extra wire lengths etc), which it is why you might get a more definitive answer faster from the forum. I have impending EQUIPMENT time commitments that PM, visitor messages and the forum are impinging on badly.
