Hi there,

Hope you don't mind the PM. I just recently bought a used MCD-201 on the used market. It works reasonably well (and sounds remarkably good) but I have had some issues of it locking up during playback.

I've heard about the firmware update from McIntosh that fixes this problem. Can I just call McIntosh to request a copy of the firmware? Is it as easy as loading the software CD into the 201 to update it?
