      I bought mine for $220 and would do it again!
      I can't imagine how the 2's and 3's sound!!
      I'm still not sure what the surround is on mine, as the sock is tough to see through, but they are fine at this point in time!

      Mike, thanks for your post in my thread on the Vandersteen Model ones..The seller still has them listed, so I may throw Him an email. He indicates they are the Model 1's from "the mid-late" 90's..so, I am hopeful that they have the rubber surround woofers.....I have always appreciated the two-way simplicity idea, and have read nothing but good about the Vandy's ability to disappear and just play music:)
