I use the record out from my CJ preamp and into the Aux input on the Fisher 400. No mods no crazy stuff and your preamp is now effectively the switcher..

There are no errors in life only opportunities to learn..

I rewired my 160 for stereo using a standard SME connector, I also modified the ROK head shell for a standard mount as well. Both work great just a bit of patience the lateral bearings in mine were shot replaced those as well. Works great with both GE VR and Ortofon SPU.. see it in action...

Wow just read all this crazy bad info from so many "experts" the S15t is a fine cartridge found within the SPU family. The attached transformers are mfg by Schroer and are top notch the sound of this is open detailed and much like real instruments. Sounds great in a heaverier arm and with tubes...
