    If you are interested in specifications, comparing numbers, drawing conclusions from graphs I'd say it's not for you. If you subscribe to a less is more philosophy a simplicity where each component is integral to complete the whole - you will love it.

    It is low transistor count with TO66 outputs in a capacitor coupled design, low NFB. The only real world comparison I can make is that it is like a two stroke motorcycle. You baby it and it bogs down. Put it in the power band and sing it will . Bad points speaker connection, power switch.

    I still have mine, the only pioneer I own. However I might entertain the idea of letting it go, if a sx1000 came into my life...........
