Keeping them may not be the safest option. Many speakers already and WAF is low for these.

Sorry that it's taken me so long to followup. Mine are 12TRX, not the B version, and don't have a nut on the back. I measured at the terminals on the speaker, at the "HI" terminal points. I'm still hoping to hear from someone who has needed to partially disassemble a 12TRX. Thanks
