Alen,
To use two amplifiers from one output you have to use two splitter or "Y" cables. As for using the 208 alone, I haven't done that but I think others successfully have. I would be cautious about pushing it too hard in the extended mode though.

If I remember correctly there is not much difference between the NAD 2600 and the 2700 (which I use). I'm sure the 2600 will drive the top and I know the 208 does a great job on the bass. I only clipped the 208 once with high volume. I've been using this combination for at least three years trouble free.
