Can you let me know the phone number of someone in South Africa able to repair Gunter Steinhart amps? I saw a post from you to someone else where you stated you knew of a couple of techs in SA able to repair these amps. Thanks

      Dear Steerpike,
I am also a collector of vintage valve amplifiers and turntables. I do have some Revox equipment (SABC). I am in Pretoria. I would appreciate if you can please contact me in this regard. Kind Regards. Charles

That is me.....with my very moody cat Shadow's head (my wife did the pic).
The motorcycle is a 1981 Yamaha XJ750 Seca.
Kinda rare in the states, as Yamaha only produced them from 1981-83.
When it was introduced in 1981.....it was the fastest production 750 in the world.
It has shaft drive.....and the first production motorcycle to use a CPU......great bike!!

Anything old that makes lovely sounds. I collect & revitalise pre 1970s audio & video equipment. And occasionally create brand new things. I particularly like & collect Philips & Revox stuff from the 50s, 60s and 70s.
