Invariably to the transistors on the heatsink next to power ic… usually +15v -15v and a +5V regs there… check them on each side of power ic… often dry joints lurk around them
Yeah could definitely be iffy protect circuit (this is in the SVI - the 3200 series have voltage amp, power amp and protection/thump-dethump/relay drive)
these are definitely unobtanium…. What impedance are the speaker(s) - it may be getting too hot.

I’ve had 2 that have had relay issues (lights stable no click) one was dry joints on coil side of relay, other was a break in the relay coil wire to its terminal…
As the jolt (though small) as the relay turns on takes effect on the joints over the years…. Atm have an X90 doing this...
