As the weather changes so does the propagation of radio signals. with really weak signals, the signal can change due to Multipath (signals traveling in different directions and arriving at the antenna in or out of phase) if in phase the signal will just add if 180 out of phase the signals will cancel, If somewhere in between they can beat together in such a way that the signal frequency is changed a little. This happens mostly with signals of low strength.
The big question, do you have this problem with a strong station (anything over a 2.5)? If so then the tuner needs to be aligned.
