I’ve used the 2N5551 many times for this same issue.

New STK’s where did you get them. If off eBay that could be part of your issue.

Then just solder them back to the new board.

De-solder them from the board while attached to the pins. Make sure you mark each wire with the corresponding number on the board. I use a small piece of scotch tape and number it then wrap it around the wire.

You need to rebuild that power supply. Looks like some components are fried. I would start with a new board from Rick (rcs16). You can buy a bare board or a pre assembled one from him. I’ve built a few and they work perfectly.

Definitely that board is butchered. I would do a full restoration including your very leaking filter caps. Extensive Parts list is on this site, search Pioneer SX-1250 restoration.
