I saw a pair of BA A70 sII at a thrift store yesterday. They were in so-so cosmetic condition and they need new foam. They wanted $40. I didn't pull the trigger. Should I go back and pick them up or just let them go. What do you guys think? Edit: sorry for the mistakes in the title

It depends. They come up pretty often in my neck of the woods. I could get a pair in nice shape with new foams for around $50. For a pair with so so cosmetics and bad foams I would pay no more than $10.

Both have filleted foam. Be sure to use it. Also replace the 4uF cap in there.

Yup that's the one. If you email him directly it may be cheaper because of lack of eBay fees, or if you don't need the glue.
