Thanks! My plinth leaves much to be desired though. I plan a nicer one, and I might make it capable of taking other tonearms but I'm not sure. I like this M3D and the stock arm does not suck!

Congrats! Very nice TD134 and great price! I had gotten my TD-135, which looks similar to your TD-134, for free as well from a very good friend quite a few years back. This was before they became popular and he thought I could use the motor and drive train parts for my TD-124's. I'm so glad I didn't!
I have several Thorens and they all are very well made and beautiful to look at. The TD-134 and 135 are compact and simple to use, but both have a great drive system. I'm guessing the only difference between the TD-134 and TD-135 are the platter size and arm. I'm not sure but maybe the arms can swap between the two models. Not positive as I don't have a TD-134.
I've only seen a couple TD134's. I'd like to find one for my Thorens collection.
Here's my TD-135 with the BTD-12S arm. It's in the original plinth but I'm thinking about restoring an original Ortofon plinth for it.
