Technics RS-9900 (two box-separate tape transport and amp sections). Also,a Technics RS-7500 Elcaset sadly with no pre-recorded cassettes, but it's great for recording... even up there with a Technics RS-1500 RTR.
IMHO,the RS-9900 is better sounding than any Nakamichi via pre-recorded cassette playback... just so analogue and warm with plenty of depth.
gonna have to take a solo one of the OTARI now...
under the A-2300SR in the background is one of my fully functional A-4300's. yes - its a joe cocker vinyl
Denon DRR-M30 from the very late 90's.
Picked this mini Denon up a few days back for £5... mostly because it was near mint and fully workin'. It's OK for a fiver, but I wouldn't of paid anymore. Build quality is typical cheap chinese. Also,it doesn't sound that good and the CD style loading tray is really just a gimmick.
Sadly,Denon had to resort to china for the manufacturing of their last cassette decks.
