What are you drinking now?

No 100 degrees this summer Seattle? strange

Nahhhh...our suffering happens Nov thru Feb when the sun, for the short time it's up, never comes out. It's the promise of days like today that keep me here when it's dark and dreary.

...at the moment, nothing on the stereo but Jim Beam Maple on board and will be watching Dvd #2 of "Royal Pains" with my lovely wife shortly...through the non-AV equipment (Onkyo TX-8210 with Bose 901 Series II and Realistic Optimus 1's)

Another from the local microbrewer.

This one is called "Wimpy" although it's anything but.

Now you hophead beer aficionados know that anything more than 100 - 120 IBU is largely academic but for academic sake, this one calculates at an intensity-busting 230 IBUs. And, at 9.8% ABV, it has a kick in more than one way.

Wow... skunky, piney resin, just a hint of citrus way in the back...big malt backbone. Not for the faint of heart. :)

Probably one of the most unique beers I have ever had. Sweet and very malty. I'm not sure I'd want this more than once a year, but it's certainly interesting stuff.
