I really like it alot. It has alot better build quality as it is hand made, with a lifetime warrenty. Only high quality parts and caps was used in this thing. Tubes last a long timw as they only run at 60% voltage. It is like running a tube CDP now. My player now has more 3D and depth. RCA tubes 12au7 seen to sound best in mine on my system. I also like the fact it is single tube, that way no matching has to be done. Plus it has a gain control that most of the others do not have, so if you need a simple pre, you have one.

I use an Aric Audio single tube pre for my PC. It is very nice, but not as nice as the Z box.

hi, read that you are using a decware zbox. could you share your thoughts on it's sound and how it compares againts the likes of musical fidelity, yaqin, burson audio etc. thanks for your time
