Hi Bob, I saw that you made your own plinth for a rek-o-kut cvs 12. I just bought one at auction and am looking to restore it. Do you by any change have a build log or any build info for the plinth and or restoration? The one i just bought is in one of those portable cases that lookings like one strong gust of wind away from completely disintegrating, so a new plinth is definitely in order.

Bob Thanks again for offering to sell me the Thorens outer platter. My hats off to you for the extra care you went through to protect the platter while shipping. I'll be able to make a hat out of the foam board with the tin foil on it. It will take the place of the tin foil hat I'm usually wearing....snort....really though thanks for the offer and extra care in packing! Your doing it right!
