Greetings, If/when you do build a Dual 1229 plinth to your satisfaction, I may be interested in having one made out of walnut close to Pioneer HPM color for one of my 1219s. You may want to consider skipping the wooden legs and put dimples in the corners for vibrapods as feet. You may be on to something as the originals are in general crap / broke/ cheap materials/etc.
