A new group just emerging in the Boulder/Lyons Colorado area is Monocle Band. They appeared in the Telluride Bluegrass Fesival 2013. I am a little biased, since I'm the father of the lead singer.

Sorry, My Vandies are the 4 model, so bi-amping is straight forward. I would call Vandersteen and ask him if you try this, as the 2 models are different.

You might consider Bi-amping them. I run my top end with my Marantz 2285B and my low end with 2 X Adcom 555s on my Vandies. Works very well.

Nice. I noticed that the notes were clear and almost a total absence of the sound of his fingers sliding up and down the strings. High Style!
