Picked up a pair of goldenear Triton 7 off eBay locally - someone pawned them and I was a day late - they came up on eBay a week later - I have 1’s and really like them so I got the 7’s for the spare bedroom. They fill the room with soundstage.

I have a rxa3040 and I've driven my usher and triton 1 speakers off it with no problem - you can also bi-amp with it by using one of the surround channels - a dedicated amp is better Sounding, but the Yamaha does the job.

Bought Triton ones Monday from a guy that was going to buy the references when they came out ( he had triton fives as surrounds he was going to move to main) the ones are every thing in a speaker I could hope for - great bass, huge soundstage, great imaging and balanced sound from top to bottom.

I saw the tan77 amp on CL, but passed because they have a history of burning up (info from forums a long time ago) they fixed the issue with the ta-n80es (but got rid of the meters) hope you can resurrect it.
