I just listened to the NAD the entry level model with a NAD amp , must say I was impressed with it at the price point , played a burned copy of latest remastered DSOTM sounded really nice . C 516BEE not variable out but sounds good.

woofer is run full range and rolls off on it's own everything you see is in the tweeter section which is a one inch inverted dome . Winslow Burhoe designed similar to EPI tweeter.
