Hi Johnno, that light is quite something. I had a similar issue with my old TPA3118 SMSL amp. Couldnt quite tune it out visually in my listening area.

Just a heads up... I've been eyeing a TPA325x after having heard one driving a pair of Yamaha NS1000. Check the item origin / item location. Some of the ones i've seen are from Wuhan, China. *edit* If anything, estimated delivery times might not hold. And theres the issue of the virus.

If you are refering to modifying the TPA3xxx boards, just look back in the thread. There are heaps of guys who have modified them.

I'm running a TPA3116 based amplifier. I really like how my music collection sounds with this amp.

If you get hooked on the price / performance of these amps... some of the commercial offerings can start to appear in a "new" light.

Hi Pio1980, No buzzkill at all. Was the FX tested with a linear supply ? I went to a linear supply soon after receiving the item and have packed away the stock PSU. i didnt get much of a listen to it in stock trim.
