With Florida's dirty power having one of those is a must. Here in Vero Beach, we get varying voltage and spikes when it storms. I don't have one yet but I'm looking into them, if you have any recommendations please post. For now, when it storms, I don't use my audio equipment or other delicate...

I had a Garrard Zero 100 that I bought new in 1972. Hated it--Went to a Dual 1219 6 months later. I am still using Dual's to this day. I have a 1219 & 1229 & 1229Q. Bill rebuilt my 1219 10 years ago ---and still going strong.

My Dad bought one new in 1963. It was really state of the art back then. Never gave him a minutes trouble. He had it until 1973 when I gifted him a new Dual 1219.

Will the Sharpie wear off. I'd love to put a mark on some of my controls because they are hard to see in a dimly lit room. I was thinking of pieces of thin pinstriping which come on a roll.
