DM 302. I've never heard them myself. They are a budget model, but quite popular and get mostly positive reviews.

I have a pair of Akai sw-30. I like them. Bit of coloration from the pipe. But I use them on my desk, close to an exceedingly heavy wall in a smallish room. The biggest downside imho is not even them being lean on the bass, but that they beam like crazy.

You don't have the 'blanking-off plate" they mention in the manual? As I read it, long port is normal, short is extra bass, blanked shut is decreased low end.
