What was the the last audio-related item you purchased?

I had an ST 70 in high school. I don't remember why I got rid of it. It was a great sounding amp. I finally ended up with an MC 2100 which I still use today.

    Philips GA312 cue issue

I am in no way affiliated with this seller, I hope this isn't against the rules. https://www.ebay.com/itm/224519399763 He has other kits, I felt for the money I would get the complete kit as mine was all original and I replaced them all including the belt

I followed bulletin 044-980. Or you could call Mac and ask their techs.

    Philips GA312 cue issue

I believe if the lamp for the end of record has failed this is what you will get. Go here: https://www.vinylengine.com/turntable_forum/ register, it's free and go to the library and you can download the manuals for this TT. I just ordered a set of lamps for my 312 from the bay.

Speaker ID. Possible 50's? Home made?

There are no connectors on the back of the cabinet. I would guess they had cords with RCA plugs on them to go to the amp. Probably a small table unit or small combo unit similar to the KLH record player/tuner combination.

Backup generator transfer switch affecting sound quality?

@evsentry3 He has an Onan diesel which is and inverter geny. It has a permanent magnet rotor. I have never seen any of the problems stated by twiiii, with any Onan and I have worked on many class A motorhomes with the inverter diesel. He probably had a bad stator with one dead winding.

    Restoring an MC2105

When I did mine, Mac did not have the diodes, I was informed I could use the original one. Just make sure it is placed as shown in my pictures posted above. I believe Mac has them in stock now, I would contact them and see if they do. I believe the current part # is 070-046.

    Restoring an MC2105

Is the diode up against the bottom of the new transistor??? Did you install the jumper to take the place of the electrical connection of the old heatsink??? Did you use these instructions to do the update 044-980.

    Restoring an MC2105

If you are refering to the 2 round heatsinks, they are manufactured by Avid and the part # is 2227B. They are pricey, but I did not want to take the chance of them being too small. I think I bought them from Newark, or maybe Mouser.

Building a cabinet with or without panloc

The panlocs make it real easy to remove the unit for service, also you can pull it out to the first stop and make adjustments that are on the top of the C28. There was a template for the cutout which made installing them real easy.
