    You are wrong on the fan cooling this amp did not even have the inline fuse for the speakers I think it was Mr. Chous pre birth of an amp this amp is garbage I see why they upgraded it this one does not have the upgrades (serial number 1)

    My amp has a single 7 amp fuse for the power supply inside the amp your amp has 2 speaker protection fuses rated at 3 amp ,mine does not maybe an earlier model?

    On my board set up I left pin 30 unhooked ( 67 volt ) not needed on the boards that I bought / but I see you are looking at the other board solution so I cant tell you what to do with that one.

    Awesome noodles gotta keep this thread going. No reason to keep these gems from the past not working if we can find good solutions to the old amp sections that fail. In my case I found a board that has double protection beyond Kenwoods protection circuitry.

    I do have a Kenwood kr-9600 all original untouched but I will not play above 10 watts because of the fear of blowing out the original ta-200w chips. Very unsatisfying because 160 watts is better than 10 watts
