Hi! I'm in Portland, OR and the widow of a long-time member. My partner had oodles of equipment and two sweet sweet systems running in our home: Marantz 2275 Stereophonic Receiver Nottingham Analogue Ace Spacedeck Marantz 5020 Stereo Cassette Deck ADS 910 Speakers (OMG! THESE ARE HUGE!!)...

I had that same pressing of Master of Puppets and it was the worst sounding recording I ever heard of it. I hope your experience is better than mine was. :) Granted my system has the wonderful ability of making bad records sound even worse. LOL

Well I am currently running it with jumpers on the three middle ones. I started out with it on 40dB, but it sounded a bit quiet. So far 50dB is working much stronger. I'll continue to futz about, but until the tubes break in, I am going to stick with what I have going now.

So in essence it's really just futzing around with it to see what sounds best? And thank you BTW. :)

Hi all, I have been wracking my small brain and am totally unsure what jumper settings I should use with my Benz Micro ACE SH High Output MC cartridge when pairing it up with the Pro-Ject Tube Box DS. They aren't using the same terms from what I can see and I have been searching and searching...
