Yeah, have some other 75th series and those don't sound as good as the Midnight Blue. The 80th Anniversary series is much better!

The great thing about the VM95 series it has threaded screw holes like the 2M series, don't have to use nuts.

I do have "God Only Knows" 45. May also have "Wouldn't Be Nice" 45.

You can upgrade the stylus on VM series like the 2M series also.

It's a grown up sounding Beach Boys album. I really like it! :music:

The Classic Vinyl Series & Tone Poet Series are very nice sounding. My copy of Kenny Burrell "Midnight Blue" is a Blue Note 75th Anniversary. That series is a hit or miss. Luckily my copy sounds excellent!

It's my first time listening to Pet Sounds! I do know some of the songs, classics. Wish it had "Good Vibrations" on the album. My favorite Beach Boys tune.

With MC cartridges you need a phono preamp that has gain and loading settings. If you don't, a high output MC cartridge will work with MM phono input. Those are out of your price range. The AT VM series is better than Ortofon 2M. VM is warmer sounding than 2M.

Listening now to Beach Boys "Pet Sounds" a 2016 stereo copy that sounds excellent! :music:

How's the sound quality on that reissue? The Ella & Louis reissue I'm playing on the Not Now Music label, vinyl is noisy and the sound is bright. I would avoid this label.
