the small centering spindle should pull off, (you may have to rock it back 'n' forth) chances are there is a 'C' or 'E' style clip under the spindle that needs to be removed

i stumbled on two pair of the M-70 a little while back, i enjoy mine, i did replace the single caps, positioned on the inside of the speaker terminals, of all 4 the Cap Value is 4.7uf and if i recall they were rated at 100v, i replaced with Dayton, 4.7uf, 250v, 1% tolerance Hope this helps
