Question for the speaker experts - I just got a pair of Electro-Voice speakers (look like Esquires but with SP12Cs), but one SP12C is not producing sound and is testing at ~40 ohm coil resistance. The other seems correct at ~5.9R. I'm guessing that's bad ;) Is this cheaply repairable or...

Swung by Bricktop's place last night, but also brought my Citation II over for some measurements. The amp is rebuilt with a mix of McShane and jon_s parts. Power supply uses McShane favorite 820uF for the doubler caps, 500uF for the reservoir cap (to keep it from bouncing on transients)...
