1936 Chevy 6-cylinder pickup... doing 160MPH in the quarter mile?!

Looks/sounds like they`re running a Powerglide behind that monster 6-pack....they definitely have the launch down to an artform....

amazing they can get a 292 to spin fast enough to do that. Usually the long stroke is not an advantage on that one. The 250 is the same hole but a shorter throw.

I'm sure it's a boat load of boost, probably mid twenties if I had to guess. Awesome truck.
Yeah, that`s probably about right. Here`s another honkin` six-banger, running 24 psi....with a properly-built engine (all forged internals), and a big turbo, prodigious amounts of power can be had....

Courtney Force turned a 3.8 in the quarter in her funny car last week. It didn't count for some reason. She still holds the record.

Aren't they running 1000 feet now? I saw it was in testing so it could of been the 1/4 but don't think it was.

Hey
In my opinion, they run a full 1/4 mile if they can do so safely. That would keep'em on their toes. Just my .02 Eric
