Hi

Thought some of you might get a kick out of my 1952 Klipschorn. It and it's brother have been with me for about 18 years.

Right now I need to clean them up, but hopefully you can look past the dust etc.

I missed a couple.
They have too much other stuff around them to show the fronts right now, but they are in pretty good shape. These pics are all one speaker, hopefully I'll get to the other soon

Voila!
Pics of Jake and Elwood as requested. Sorry about the poor photography.
They still need to be cleaned up a bit. TJake BD July 9 1952.JPG Elwood BD SEPT 23 1952.JPG Jake BD July 9 1952.JPG Elwood BD SEPT 23 1952.JPG Jake BD July 9 1952.JPG Elwood BD SEPT 23 1952.JPG hey have held up a LOT better than I have!

SWEET!!!

If I have old wood things that I want to save the original finish, I either use Old English scratch remover (oil with a little color in it) or Liquid Gold. Seems to work great for me.

Thanks for the advice. These sure could use it. They practically have the original dust.

@2020

Nice ! What serial numbers are those units? Looked like one said 312 or 315 ??

Woofer shown is definitely a Stephens. I'm guessing a P52LX2.

Thanks, Ohighway. Sorry about taking so long to respond.
Serial numbers are 315 and 345.
You have a good eye. I wondered if anyone would notice the Stephens woofer. It has never been out of the cabinet, and I don't know the model for sure, but believe you are right about P52LX2.
The sound from the woofers is VERY lush. To my ear, they are as good or better than any Klipsch, Altec or JBL woofer. But, that is only an opinion.
Thanks for noticing and for your comments.
