Has anyone done a recap of an A-2000a? If yes, what are the caps needed. Thank you.

I think you're gonna be the first on here. That amp didn't make it's way to the states and I haven't seen anyone else on here with one.

Have you been able to find a service manual for it?

I have one..It has not been recapped yet. Its power amp assemblies are very similar to a B-2x amplifier assemblies.

I really like the way those integrateds look and I like the way my B2x sounds. That's got me thinking of buying a Japanese A-1000 or A-2000 to add to the collection but shipping is a lot and most seem to be missing buttons and stuff.

That's a beast of an integrated amplifier, it looks like a single transformer clone of the B-2X. Does it come in a 120 VAC version?

Japan-only so 100V-only, at least to my knowledge.
Misses out on the MT-200 output devices from the B-2x, pretty similar power amp otherwise.
