Adding wasapi to my WinAmp player

I just switched from foobar to winamp for playing flac music files on my stereo system. I downloaded wasapi to my foobar player, but I can't seem to do the same with the winamp. I download wasapi to my pc files, but unlike with foobar, I can't get the files to the winamp output. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's exactly the one I used. I saved it to my files, but how do I download it to my winamp player? With foobar, it has a add component action that allows you to add the wasapi file to foobar. I haven't been able to find that on winamp.

oh ok so download the maiko thing (i guess you've done that) then extract the zip file

then copy the file "out_maiko.dll" to

C:\Program Files (x86)\Winamp\Plugins



then open winamp go to options>preferences > plug-ins> output and click on Maiko WASAPI output then click configure and set the options as desired

output device /exlusive mode options as desired (ATM i just have Disable volume control checked..in my case)

anyways when you have the right device and other options set close the maiko config box and winamp preference and start playing something and you should be rocking out WASAPI style.

My setup: Win7 Pro, Winamp 5.64, Maiko WASAPI.
Maiko: under exclusive tab, first four and the sixth boxes are checked.
only Maiko is listed in output plugins, no DSP

Problem: Maiko randomly crashes Winamp when I click to go to next track, previous track or when I close winamp.

I can play quite a few tracks before this happens. Almost never happens when I first start Winamp. So, it's random.

Any help appreciated.
