If you can afford to contribute you should, period. This is our community. If we don't fund it no one else will.
I just augmented my subscription payment by $10.00. Why have I done this you may ask. I have received far more than $60.00 worth of assistance from AK members since I found it a little over 2 years ago.
Last year I met a retired technician. I thought that he may enjoy teaching me some stuff, and keeping his skills sharp. He seemed to like the idea when I pitched it to him. I brought some equipment over to his place on two occaisions. He just spent our time arguing with his wife, and raving about politics.
The help here is a great value.
