Am I missing something with this eBay Thorens???

I stumbled on this Thorens for auction--

I'm unsure why it's been bid up to $1400 and still not met the reserve--the base is cobbled together and one armboard looks like it's meant for some other table.

The TT itself --a TD124--must not be the attraction since there are other 124's for auction at reasonable bids.

Looks kind of rough, but it's a $1,500 now.

There are lots of really nice TT's in that price range, and that wouldn't be my pick.

it IS the Micro Seiki that's the desirable one, isn't it????
Looks QUITE rough to me--that's why the price surprised me. At least the reserve has been met now that bidding's up to $1500.
