Just wondering if there were a few "outsiders" that just happen
to be staying at the hotel and became new members of AK after
    the fest?

YEP..There was a man who works in the hotel who runs the sound in the lounge. He talked to me and he said that they actually use vinyl. He was the one who helped us straighten out some of the mess we had with the rooms. He just wanted to come and see what we were about and really enjoyed the fest.

There were even others...some from other vintage audio sites and others that came with friends.

Actually there were a few members of other websites at the fest. I think there were a few Lurkers that came out to play with us.

Yes I am new as of the monday before the show when I found out from craig!
of nosvalves who I met on the klipsch forums a while back!

Glad to meet all you guys and become a part of the community!
    Thanks for having me.

I am an avid music fan with a pretty good amount of gear who likes to take
it all apart to see if it can be improved.

    I'm a computer tech/engineer for a living and build/rebuild speakers for fun!
Also dabble in updating my electronics with "better" parts!

    Hi Kegger,

It was nice to meet you at AK Fest. Hope your back is feeling better! One of the hazards of vintage gear. Crazy thing is I put my back out last night putting speakers into my car to haul home!

Excuse me while I head to the chiropractor....
