First episode just aired. Kevin Costner wrote/directing/starring. He plays John Dutton, owner of the largest cattle ranch in Montana (and maybe the US ?) Modern "cowboys & Indians" tale, where he is at odds with a neighboring reservation, as well as a big-time real-estate developer looking to change the landscape of that part of the state. Seems pretty coherent and well-written at this point, I guess we`ll see where it goes with the story line....

Watched maybe the first 40 minutes or so and after the 5th or 6th obligatory F word, erased it from the DVR.

Didn't see your thread, but yeah I'm hooked. Looks promising but I believe it was written and directed by Sheridan.

I am disappointed in this. Taylor Sheridan has done some great films, but more is not always better. I know the Beth Dutton character is supposed to be unlikeable, but I feel like I am watching Dynasty. This show wants to be Bonanza, The Godfather and Dallas. Too bad!

Watch the 1st season. Waiting for the 2nd to drop.

Nice different and entertaining telling of the old western theme.
