Are new JBL 100 Classics cancelled?

Just wondering...

Why wasn't the word 'Century' used for this new L100 Classic?

I assume that's what JBL is truly celebrating. Not the L100A when the 'Century' name was dropped. Although, many may argue it's "all the same speaker"

JBL celebrated their 50th anniversary with a L100 Gold speaker. Will there be 100th anniversary in 2046? There is no official 100th anniversary wedding 'color', but a 10 carat diamond is considered a proper gift. A lot of corporations celebrate centennial milestones with the color purple. Maybe a L100 Purple Edition or a L100 Diamond Edition speaker.

Actually, despite the freq specs being the same, a bit bass shy, the 4312E has higher sensitivity and they have a different woofer than the L-100, which probably has much to do with the different crossover points. In the 4312 the woofer crosses over at 640, while the L-100 crosses at 450. The tweeter jumps in at 3.5khz in the L-100 while the 4312 at 5khz. Not dramatic differences.
