This came with a high end tt I recently bought. Never seen this before. Looks to be a record cleaning wand?? Anywhat no more about this piece? Thanks in advance

Yes, a dust bug. An Audio Technica AT-6002 dust bug. 10 bucks, circa 1976.
Noticed how every time someone finds a UFO on their deck, it turns out to be a dust bug?
This should really be a sticky. It's always one of these, or the Bib ref #42 which isn't shown
in this Nov 1976 Popular Mechanics issue (page 108)

Yup, some are good, some are just very effective at smearing dirt evenly across an entire side of a record,
none track very good, all are a PITA to set when you play a real thick 180g record and then switch to a normal record
again and you typically grow tired of them at some point. Usually they are too much hassle. All - but my
dust bug from hell:
