Audiokarma's server needs your help

As I indicated in posting of Maxell RTR tapes for sale, I would donate 20% of the sale proceeds to the server fund. Thanks to Rob (skylab) for making the purchase, and my $12 is on the way. I'll do that again for future sales as well.

I have enjoyed this thread....and appreciated the reminder to all that this is a free service to members and a wonderful resource at that!!! I have learned a lot here from the knowledgable folk on AK.
I was a Subscriber for my first few years here on AK but allowed it to lapse this year.
.....rare autoimmune disorder .....no cure ....very few treatment options .....have not worked for 8 years ....chronic often debilitating pain
....the medicine that does help me is not covered and thus is ALL out of pocket
....no disability coverage or pension
Now, these are simply facts! No pity party here folks. I am blessed in many ways - wonderful bride of 32 years....great friends....access to great medical care....wonderful audio/music hobby, etc, etc
But I felt compelled to continue to support this great resource.
I am re-subscribed.....I know it's not much but I trust it is of some small value to the AK Team.

Well to be honest we have not upgraded our server in a very long while. Anyways come early this week we hope to have one wicked fast server coming online for all of Audiokarma's sites.
Sadly I have to do the NPR thing and ask folks for server donations. If any of you can help we would greatly appreciate it. Paypal can be sent to sales@audiokarma.org If you need our mailing address please let me know. if you do make a donation can you please make note of it in the payment. Helps keep it seperate from subscriptions
A sneak peak. Our old servers were on 15K, Raid-10 hard drives.
The new servers will be using M.2 Solid State, Raid-10 hard drives. These new drives should make Audiokarma atleast 8-10 faster !!!
Also the servers will be getting a new processor that is 4 times faster then current.
There are other major changes as well but the two above should carry us for a long while, we hope
So as you can see we are very excited about bringing this online for everyone, and hope you folks enjoy them.

How can I donate to the server online, I only found an option to resubscribe, which I did but will donate specifically to the cause if I can online..thanks
