Go order the Bass Mechanix CD with the song, "Toccata in B" on it. That's the only song you need.

Stanley Clarke plays bass like a lead guitarist if you are in to that kind of stuff.
Flaming Lips has some bass heavy stuff, may be more to your liking.

Try to find some Jon Entwistle solo stuff. Nothing like the Ox thundering away on his bass.... Now it's rock 'n' roll bass, so it won't reach those ultra-low depths....

Check out the track "Bodas De Oro" from Ry Cooder/Manaul Galban's "Mambo Sinuendo" album. THAT song will rattle your dentures (and the rest of the album is stellar).

It will damn near shake the screws out of the walls if your system can handle low frequencies at high SPLs. There are a lot of CD's out there with bass test types of tracks made for people who like to blast the bass in their cars. If all you want is bass, give those a shot.

Joe Jackson's first 2 LP's (Look Sharp, I'm the Man) have great bass tracks. Also, the title cut off of Zappa's Apostrophe album will rattle your molars (Jack Bruce on bass).
