I never felt the need to have speakers that cost under $100. I did buy these though, the little Sony's on the floor.

AR4X's for $5 at Thrift City.

This started an obsession with New England speakers which has cost me more than $100.

Bang & Olufsen Penta II. $25
AVID 230 $15
Cerwin Vega D7 $40
Radian Research 12-3 $20

all needed foam and two need some crossover work but all very good. The penta amps need work so they are passive at the.moment and really good

I've gone the budget route since I got into equipment again very recently. I'm happy as hell
