Bought a Schiit JIL

Ok, I bought a Schiit JIL and got to try it out today. After getting my settings right in Vinyl Studio I ripped the Icehouse album, Man of Colours. I spent some time comparing the resulting FLAC file with the actual output of my vinyl rig and I must say that the rip is indistinguishable from the actual vinyl playback. The best possible result .

I'm using a Gieseler Groß DAC for playback.

The recording chain is Audio Technica ART9 + Fidelity Research FR-14 arm + S.A.M Aldebaran turntable > TVA Rebel IC > Fidelity Research FRT-4 SUT > Valab LCR-1 phono > Litz copper IC > Schiit JIL > Aucharm Silver Plated Copper USB > Vinyl Studio.

Just thought I'd report my findings.

Thank you for this report. I’m thinking about buying an ADC or a full-blown recording interface to make needledrops. I tried recording with my Zoom PCM recorder and attenuator cable, but this process introduced a lot of noise into recordings.
