C27 preamp with an MC754 amp ?

I'd like to purchase a C27 because I like it's features and it would look nice with my MR74 tuner.
Would this be a good match? Need some insight on this. thx

It should sound great. The MC754/752 amps are very under rated. Fantastic amps...I've owned a 752 for over a decade.

I have a C27/MC2205.
Since about 1997.
All good. Very nice.

Update: As it turns out I purchased a C26 in mint condition vs the C27 I was considering in just OK condition. Thanks for all the replies.

A friend of mine uses his C-28 to drive remote speakers with a 754 (ML-1C) with a MQ 102 eq and the sound is fantastic even after a some 30 years or so.

Let us know how it sounds after you have the combo in service for a while. I have two 754s in different systems and I love them. They're indestructible.

I will. It'll be a while though .. I sent the preamp to Terry DeWick for a refurb.
If after a while I forget .. just refurb my memory.

The verdict is in:
Using the MC754/C26 with my Rectilinear lll's the sound is excellent.
With Advent Maestro's is also excellent.
I also used my MC2505/C26 with both pair of speakers.
The difference in sound between the two amps being the 2505 is more toned down (warm)
whereas the 754 is what I call brighter or more out there.
I use each amp/speakers for different types of music. Makes listening more pleasurable.
